To ensure a respectful and productive environment for all users, the following rules must be observed in the university library:

  1. Library Access
    • The library is open to all registered students, faculty, and staff of the university.
    • A valid university ID is required to borrow materials or access certain services.
  2. Noise and Conduct
    • Maintain silence in study areas.
    • Use of mobile phones must be kept on silent or vibrate mode; calls must be taken outside.
    • Respect others; disruptive behavior may lead to disciplinary action.
  3. Borrowing and Returns
    • Books and materials must be checked out at the circulation desk or through self-service kiosks.
    • Items must be returned or renewed by the due date to avoid fines.
    • Users are responsible for any damage or loss of borrowed materials.
  4. Food and Drink
    • Food is not allowed inside the library.
    • Drinks in covered containers are permitted in designated areas only.
  5. Computer and Internet Use
    • Library computers are for academic and research purposes only.
    • Misuse of library technology may result in suspension of access privileges.
  6. Personal Belongings
    • Do not leave personal items unattended. The library is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
